Description
In this course, trucking industry economic forecasts will be shared, particularly how supply and demand conditions will determine the direction of rates. Truckload capacity will be a key focus, and this session will provide estimates of how long it will take for capacity to re-balance based on the truck production outlook. In this session, you will also learn the forecast for freight demand, based on industry expertise and award-winning economic forecasts, including implications for the cycle from the trade situation, and contrasts between TL, LTL and intermodal. This will help determine future rate, and we'll discuss implications for business planning in the context of this cyclical industry.
